Anniversary Card

A little different type of card for me.  I needed an anniversary card this week and couldn't decide on a stamp to use so I decided to think outside my normal box and made this instead.  I used the sketch from Cardabilities and the heart doily die from La La Land.  I think it looks pretty.

Entered in following challenges:
Cardabilities: Sketch
Open Minded Crafting: Wedding or anniversary

Elf Christmas

The challenge this week at 52 CCT is a color challenge.  You need to use pastel pink, green and yellow.  These colors aren't my typical go-to colors for Christmas cards but I do like the way my card turned out.  If you have a baby in your family, these colors would make a great Baby's First Christmas card.

The other day  I shared the graduation card I made for my son to give to his girlfriend.
Today's card is the card from my husband and me.

Nurse Graduation Card

My son's girlfriend is graduating with her BSN this weekend.  He asked if I could make a card for him to give to her.  How could I say no?  He requested I use their university colors (Purple and White) and to use a stamp with a nurse caring for a child. She has found a job already working in the cardiac telemetry unit but her dream is to work pediatrics.  I found this adorable young nurse from Mo's Digital Pencil and decided to make it work.  I stitched the heart rhythm for the border.  I wasn't sure I wanted to use purple thread but I think it turned out pretty cool.
For the inside of the card I found this verse that was just perfect.  I left space for my son to write his own additional message.

Card Details:
