Peek A Boo!

 Welcome to my week celebrating babies!
In a few hours I will be leaving to chaperone our church's youth group on their trip to
Washington DC for the March for Life.
I am pretty excited about the trip even though it means spending 24 hours on a bus full of teens.  I deal will toddlers on a daily basis for work so I figure teens should be pretty easy.....right?
Anyway, while I am gone, I decided to share my recently restocked supply of baby cards.  Not only do we have lots of friends having babies but I have had several friends become grandparents recently....gasp!

Sassy Studio Designs Jan Release and Blog Hop

 I chose to use the new image Valentine Honey.  I thought she looked like a centerfold so that is what I did with my card.

I colored the hearts red and then went over them with a red spica pen.
Letters XO were cut using the Sweethearts Cricut cartridge at 1.25 inches

The challenge this week at Digi Doodle Shop's Challenges is to use embossing on your project. I chose to use Tim Holtz's Pocket Watches embossing folder and Nellie Snellen punches for my embossing. I simply cut out one of the pocket watches to use like a diecut.

Beautiful Tilda

My LSS was having a having a sale on Magnolia Stamps after Christmas so I drove the hour to the shop to spend a little of my Christmas money. Even with all the choices and the sale, I only ended up buying two Magnolia Stamps and this is one of them. I used extreme glitter paint on her wings and the flower for a little added sparkle and shimmer.

Aud Sentiments Challenge #45 Use Your Scraps

It's time for the first challenge of 2012 at Aud Sentiments! For this challenge you can use any sentiment and you must use your scraps. My sentiment is on the inside of the card and I forgot to take a picture of it.

I cleaned off my table in my craft room and found these great papers leftover from another project. I also used scraps of a doily for an embellishment. The beads are actually from an old earring that I took off the finding.
