Congratulations Brett!!!!! My nephew is graduating today!!!

My nephew is graduating from high school today!!! Kept his card simple since I knew he wouldn't want glitter and ribbon...I was tempted though!!!! The only cricut cuts on this card are the numbers. His school colors are crimson and blue and his mascot is an eagle. I bought the eagle die cuts at scrappinstuff.com She has great stuff for all the activities that are not on the cricut carts.

Hello Kitty Cherries

I just had to play with my new Hello Kitty cart. Bought it just for these cherries!!! I didn't write down the cut sizes this time. The first pic shows the card and the envie. The smile stamp is from CTMH and the faces are Peachykeen face stamps. The red ink is CTMH cranberry.

With Love Anniversary Card

This card was pretty easy to make but I really like the way it turned out. The card measures 5x7. The flower petals are embossed using the cuttlebug. I used the spots and dots, swiss dots, and perfectly paisley embossing folders. The stem is embossed with the With Love embossing folder. Lots of inking too. I used the following CTMH inks wild berry, brown bag and england ivy. The pattern paper is from My Mind's Eye. I used the CTMH stamp set Loves me, Loves me not to stamp on the front and back of the envie.
Cricut cuts:
Hearts: George cart 2, 2 1/4 and 2 3/4 inches
petals: Walk In My Garden cart cut at 1 1/4 inches

Barbie and the Diamond Castle

I made this card for a friend of mine who will be 5 years old on Wednesday. She loves everything Barbie and is having a Barbie and the Diamond Castle party. I added lots of glitter because what 5 year old girl doesn't love glitter!! I added popdots on the left wing of the horse to give it some dimension. I chose the Paul Revere horse since I could take away the rider and it would look like it was flying. I sure hope she likes this!!!
Cricut cuts:
Castle: PDDU cut at 5 1/4 inches
Glimmer the flying horse: My World Paul Revere horse cut at 2 1/2 inches on blackout
Wings: Indie Art cut at 1 1/4 inches
Scalloped Circle: Mini Monograms 2 inches
#5: Mickey Font cut at 1 1/2 inches
Cupcake: Celebrations cut at 1 3/4 inches

Friendship is like pee in your pants

We are revealing secret sisters in sorority tonight so I thought this would be a fun card. The sketch is from Stamps & Smiles but I don't know the sketch number. All papers except for denim are from Making Memories Scrapbook pad "Sydney" I bought the belt buckle at Michaels several years ago thinking I would have a use for it someday. I think it worked great for this card. Card measures 5.5 x 5/5
Cricut Cuts:
Oval: George
Blue Jeans: Paper Doll Dress Up--I used design studio to stretch it to the size I wanted
Marquee: Storybook

Sunshine Thank You Card

This card was made using a sketch from the Chirper Challenge. Along with the sketch we were to make a card or layout using bright colors and the theme of sunshine. The card is a thank you card for one of my Sunday School students who gave me a hanging basket. His favorite color is orange so naturally I chose that as one of the bright colors. I used the cuttlebug folder spots and dots on the blue paper and the two small strips of paper are embossed using the With Love cuttlebug folder. I used the Sizzix face stamps on the sun along with some chalk for character. The inside sentiment is an old stamp for CTMH. The best thing about this card is what you can't SEE! BABYCAKES from the Cricut Message Board sent me some music modules for cards and I used one for this card. It plays You Are My Sunshine!!
Card measures 4x7 since I needed to make a third fold to attach the music module.
Cricut Cuts:
Plane: Mickey and Friends cut at 1 1/2 inches
Banner: Wedding Solutions cut at 1 1/2 inches
Thanks: Mickey Font cut at 1/2 inch
Sun: Doodlecharms cut at 1 3/4 inches

Challenge Card

For National Scrapbook Day Pinkstamper had several challenges on her blog. This is for Challenge #8 a card sketch by Christina. For this challenge you had to use a heart, scalloped border,3 images on the side and a sentiment along the bottom. All papers are from My Mind's Eye. I used Close to My Heart (CTMH) stamp pads to ink the edges of my papers. I used Bamboo for the tan cardstock and then used two different stamp pads for the pink paper. I first used CTMH pepperwood and then went over that with CTMH wild berry. I goofed and didn't get the top flower straight and of course the glue was very sticky and I couldn't move it.
Cricut Cuts:
Large Heart: George cart cut at 3 inches
Flowers: George card cut at 3/4 inches
Small heart: Home decor cut at 1 1/2 inches
Bird: Home decor cut on shadow

I really loved the other blue bird card so I made another just a little different. I again made 4 cards so I can give to Sunday school teachers on the last day. The card measures 5.5 x 5.5 Pattern paper is from the DCWV spring stack. The embossing is from the cuttlebug stylized flowers embossing folder. I used the Martha Stewart branch punch to make the wreath and added dew drops/pebbles for accents.
