Christmas Scene

The theme this week at 52 CCT is to use sponging or brayering on your card.  This is the first time I have created a scene using my inks and sponges.  I love the way the snowy scene turned out.  So much so that I included a new set of sponge daubers on my Christmas list.  I did add some white embossing powder for falling snow.

Tis The Season To Be Fabulous

I decided to use some nontraditional colors for this Christmas card.  It's always fun to create a Christmas card using other colors and patterns.  This is my DT card for the current challenge at Aud Sentiments.  This week we are sponsored by Lacy Sunshine Stamps and the theme is Anything Goes with a Sentiment.
I colored her with copics and then used the old rag technique for the fur trim on her hat

Rejoice

I think I have said it enough times but here goes again, Christmas cards are my favorite cards to make!  If you are like me and really enjoy making Christmas cards then you should put your name in the hat to become a member of the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Design Team.  You can find our all the details on the 52 CCT blog.
The challenge this week at 52 CCT is to use the colors Green and Purple.  I have had this image for awhile from Eureka Stamps and thought these colors were perfect.
After coloring the gold with copics, I painted the crowns with extreme glitter paint to make them shine.

Scrapper's Delights has a huge new release today.  Just in time for the holidays.  I have created two cards with a couple of the new images.  The first card features Naughty Elf  and the second  the Nutcracker.  http://scrappersdelights.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6&products_id=806http://scrappersdelights.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6&products_id=799

Winter Blessings

It's the first Saturday of the month so it's sketch day at 52 CCT.  If you have been playing along with us all year, you should be just about done or actually finished with your Christmas cards.  If you haven't started, this sketch is just perfect. It's simple and versatile.
For my card, I decided to use another snowman from the set I received from My Artistic Adventures.
I added some gold spica pen details and stickles to three of the snowflakes on the pattern paper to complete the sketch.

Take Time To Chase Snowflakes

We have a fun challenge for you this week at Aud Sentiments.  We're playing bingo!

I used the far right column (pattern paper, flowers, diecut) and The middle row (Ribbon/lace, digi image, flowers).  I plan to fill this french fry container with small gifts or treats at Christmas.  It would also make a nice hostess gift for one of our many Christmas parties
We are sponsored by My Artistic Adventures
