Christmas Fairy

I love the way this card turned out.  The fairy wings are so beautiful and shimmery.
I strung a few jingle bells and attached to the card for a little fun.  I am sure the recipient
of this card will have fun shaking it to get the bells to jingle

Little Shepherd

Here is another card I made using a premade card.  I kept it simple so that it will be easy to mail.  Many of my more "embellished" cards I had deliver but I do my best to keep the post office open!
This adorable stamp is from Sarah Kay.
Reminds me of my boys when they participated in the play for church.  We always have our Christmas program on Epiphany.  It's a wonderful way to end the Christmas season.

Christmas Gift Tag

I made this Christmas tag using a Besties image.  She looks so sweet.
The tag shape was made using the lacy cirle spellbinders die.  The snowflakes are
spellbinders dies as well.  I painted the snowflakes with extreme glitter paint to make them sparkle and shine just like real snow.  I added polar white flower soft to her hat trim and added ultra fine glitter to the snow on the ornament.

Entered in following challenges:
Besties:  Anything Goes or inspired by a song
Crafty Hands:  Winter
Totally Paper Crafts:  Non traditional Christmas colors

For Unto Us A Child Is Born

The challenge at Creative Craft Challenges is to creat a White on White Christmas card.
I had a dickens of a time getting a decent picture of this card but trust me, it's GORGEOUS!
I used the three kings Cuttlebug embossing folder.  I then used white glittery embossing powder on the star, crowns and the three gifts

Christmas Dance

This is one of my favorite images from Mo's Digital Pencil (I say that about all her images)
I would like to think this is what I look like as I am decorating my Christmas trees.
In actuality I am usually in sweat pants, covered in dust reminding myself I wasn't going to get out
all 20 Christmas tubs from the store room.

Precious Moments Christmas

I did an online search for free coloring pages and found this adorable little guy
all tangled up in his Christmas lights.
Precious Moments figurines are so pretty and I tried to color this image in the same
soft color pallette.
I used a premade card for this one.  After coloring, I used my spellbinders to cut him out in an oval and he fit prefectly inside the oval printed on the card front.
I decided that it was perfect as is and didn't need any more embellishments.
Plus, it makes this card very easy to mail.

Better To Give Than Receive Advent Calendar

Christmas is a magical time of year for children!
However, it can get a bit overwhelming for them with all the
mixed messages of the season.  I decided that I wanted to try
something different this year with my daycare kids to make
the season more meaningful.  I have tried the Elf On The Shelf system
but really wanted the focus not on their behaviour but on their actions.
In my search for something to try, I stumbled upon The Christmas Angel.
What a sweet way to get children involved in the season.
Each day during advent we will be visited by an angel named Noel
who will leave us an letter in the advent calendar.  Noel will
be giving us jobs to do that help us remember that it is
BETTER TO GIVE THAN RECEIVE
We will be making cards, gifts and treats for the elderly or shut ins
during this month.

Project Details:
Calendar is made from an over the door shoe organizer with 24 pockets
Numbers:  Base Camp Cricut Cartridge
Letters: Base Camp Cricut Cartridge
Angel:  Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut Cartridge
