Fabulous Fall

Today's scrapbook layout is for Alayna's album.
She will be going to kindergarten in the fall.
This layout is for the day we raked up all the leaves in the play area
and put them at the bottom of the slide.
She had a great time landing in that pile of leaves over and over again.

You and Me Scrapbook Layout

This is one of the pages I made for Nora's scrapbook.
It will have a picture of me and her together
The album is an 8x8.
I think that is the perfect size for a child to sit
to hold and look at in order to  remember all of her friends at daycare.
8x8 pages are also just the perfect size for 4x6 photos.

Album cover

I always try to make a scrapbook for each of my daycare kids to take with them when they go to kindergarten.  This year I have one child going to kindergarten and one moving away.  Goodbyes are always difficult because these children become part of our family. This is the front of the album I made for Nora who will be moving away.  I have taken care of her since she was a baby and she is very dear to all of us.
I ran the corner branch through my xyron so it would stick to the album.  The letters were cut out of vinyl.

Here is another of the graduation cards I made for my son to give to his college friends. I made 3 just like this one.   He wanted one for a guy and two more that were generic so I just made them all clean and simple.  He asked me on Thursday to make cards and I had them all done and in the mail to him by Monday morning.  Now I can get back to Mother's day cards and also my flowers that need planting.  All the rain and snow we have had this past month has made me a little late with the gardening.
Card Details:
Grad Hat: Locker Talk Cricut cartridge cut at 1 inch
2013: Base Camp Cricut cartridge cut at .75 inch
Spellbinders scalloped circle and circle dies

Graduation Card

My son asked me to make graduation cards for a few of his friends graduating from college this year.  He asked for 2 cards for girls and 1 for a guy plus 2 generic.  I couldn't resist making the cards for the girls rather feminine.  I made two just like this one.  Hope they like them.  The abovc pic shows the easel card as it would be displayed.  The pic below shows the back (or base of card) with the sentiment and place for my son to write a message.

Here is the envelope.  I couldn't resist decorating it as well.

Elephant Birthday Card

Oops!  This was supposed to post yesterday.

The new challenge at Creative Craft Challenges is All About Animals!
We are sponsored by Robyn's Fetish and I just love this elephant from their store.
I decided to keep this card pretty simple so I can use it for a guy.
I thought the sentiment I used on the inside of the card was perfect to use with an elephant image.
