Digi Doodle Shop challege Use Bunting

The challenge this week at Digi Doodle Shop's Challenges is to use bunting on your project.
To me, bunting is for parties so I chose the image Anticipation from the Digi Doodle Shop for my card.
Those poor kids look like they are having a hard time waiting.  I bet if we saw the other side of
the cake, we would see a finger swipe in the frosting.
I hope you join us in this challenge.  Link up your projects using bunting over at the challenge blog for
your chance to win a gift certificate to the Digi Doodle Shop

Thank You Card

I made this card as a thank you card for my son's Quiz Bowl coach.
My son's only requirement for the card was to use an image of a girl with
really curly hair just like coach.  I think this image from Mo's digital Pencil is just perfect!

The Quiz Bowl team is currently in Altlanta, Georgia for the National Quiz Bowl Tournament.
Today is day two of competition and the team is doing awesome!!

Nerd?

My son's varsity Quiz Bowl team is participating in the National Competion today in Altanta, Georgia.
I made cards for each member of the team to wish them luck.
They are the Missouri 3A State Champs and it would be great if they could win nationals too.

The inside sentiment reads:   WE PREFER INTELLECTUAL BADASS!
I forgot to take a picture of the inside of the cards before I signed them all so I don't have a picture to share.

Nerd and Glasses:  Nifty Fifties Cricut cartridge cut at 3 inches
Question Mark:  Base Camp Cricut cartridge cut at 2.25 inches

Graduation Banners

Today my oldest son graduates from high school!
We are very proud of him and the young man that he has become.
We had his senior reception last weekend and I thought I would
share with you the banners I made.

This first banner went above the dessert table.  I used the Nursery Rhymes Cricut cart for the banner
shapes.  The letters were cut using the Base Camp Cricut cartridge.  The first picture is Brad's kindergarten picture
and the pic on the other end is his senior pic

I found the idea for the balloon bouquet on Pintrest.

The next banner I used different colors.  His high school colors are black and gold but he will be attending Truman State University on a full ride scholarship in the fall and their school color is purple.  I used a combo of purple, black and gold to represent both schools.

I used the Letter Envy Cricut cart for the letters to spell out his name.
Spellbinders dies for the background shapes

I will show the scrapbook layouts I used for the memorabilia table later this week.

Welcome to your next stop in the Sassy Studio Designs May Release Blog Hop.
If you got here from Jen's blog, then you are on the right track.
If not, please start the hop at Sassy Studio Designs so you can find out how to win some
wonderful Sassy images.

Here is my project.  New for this release is Marie Antoinette!  I know she didn't utter the words,
"Let them eat cake!" but she sure makes a great birthday card!
As part of this hop, we were asked to share what is our favorite flower.
My fav is the yellow rose because that is my favorite color and they are just so beautiful!

My favorite flowers to plant in my garden are Zinnias.  They are colorful, easy to grow and bloom all summer long.
They also look great when cut and arranged in a flower vase.

Your next stop along the hop is Christy
Don't forget to leave my some love before you leave

Digi Doodle Shop Challenge Work Related

It's time for another challenge at Digi Doodle Shop's Challenges
The theme for this challenge is "Work Related"

When you live on a farm, there is always lots of work to do so I decided to make a scrapbook page.
I asked Judy from The Digi Doodle Shop several months ago if she would design a stamp for me using the photograph below as inspiration. It shows my two sons trying to get the donkey to move from the back pasture up
to the pasture by our barn. As you can tell he was a little stubborn.
I am absolutely thrilled with the way the digi stamp turned out and it looks great on the scrapbook page.  She aptly named the image, "Never Give Up" and you can find it for sale in the Digi Doodle Shop.
The journaling for this page is hidden.  If you pull up on the barn, the journaling is printed on a strip of cardstock behind the pattern paper.

This pic will be placed on the brown backing.  I always have a hard time photographing my pages with the picures already attached.
In case you are wondering, No, Harvy never kicked at the boys.  In fact, he loved kids.  I have a daycare in my home and whenever he heard my voice outside he would come right up to the fence expecting treats and love.  He loved it when the kids would pet him and he would give them rides around the corral.  Often times I could leave the gate open for him and he would come looking for us.
Project Details:
Digi Image:  Never Give Up from The Digi Doodle Shop
Barn:  Country Life Cricut cartridge
Water Pump:  Country Life Cricut cartridge
Farm Raised:  Country Life Cricut cartridge
Fence:  Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge

Aud Sentiments Challenge #54 Dad, Daddy, Papa

It's time for another challenge at Aud Sentiments.  The theme for this challenge is Fathers.
You need to use any form of the word dad in your sentiment.
We are sponsored this time by Ellephantastic.  I used their digi image, Super Rog for my card.
I decided to go with a little different color theme for my super hero dad instead of the traditional red, white and blue.
I hope you join us for the challenge.  You have until May 22 to link up your project to Aud Sentiments

Anything Goes at Digi Doodle Shop

With all the cooking, cleaning and crafting I have been doing for my son's grad party,
I didn't realize that this blog post didn't get done.

It is Anything Goes at Digi Doodle Shop's Challenges this week.  Don't miss out on your opportunity to win a gift certificate to the Digi Doodle Shop.

For my card, I used the image The Horse Kiss from Digi Doodle Shop

This sweet image reminds me of one of my daycare kids.  She wants a horse that looks just like her favorite horse on our local carousel.
