Digi Doodle Shop's Challenge #65 Anything Goes

It's Anything Goes at Digi Doodle Shop's Challenges this week!! For my DT card I decided to go for bold and bright colors. This is a stretch for me to use so many colors and patterns all in one card but I think I really love the look. Especially for this adorable Jack-in-the-box from The Digi Doodle Shop.
I am always stashing items away with the thought that I can find a use for them in the future. This spring was just such an item. Someone gave me a package of chipboard stickers that were mounted on springs and I knew that I would find a use for them. I decided to take off the sticker and attach it to the Jack-in-the-box to give him some dimension and movement.

We would love for you to join us in this challenge. Simply link up your project to the Digi Doodle shop's Challenge blog for your chance to win a gift certificate to the Digi Doodle Shop.

Digi Doodle Shop's Challenges #63 Stitching

The theme for this week's challenge at Digi Doodle Shop's Challenges is STITCHING. We want to see any type of stitching on your projects. For my card, I used the image "All Dressed Up" from the Digi Doodle Shop. Just love this little sweetie. My boys used to run around like this wearing their dad's shoes. For my stitching, I decided to do something a little different this time. I stitched around the card as usual with a basic stitch but instead of using rhinestones for my swirls, I decided to use french knots. I think the french knots look great and will definitely be trying this again in the future.

We would love for you to join us in this challenge. Simply create a project using stitching and link it up to the Digi Doodle Shop's Challenge blog for your chance to win a gift certificate to the Digi Doodle Shop.

Sassy Studio Designs Sneak Peek

Here is another sneak peek at the new release images from Sassy Studio Designs.

I used the sketch from Sketch N Stash for my card. The new item I used was the Harry image from Sassy Studio Designs. From my stash I used a music module that I scavenged from a card sent to my son. A few years ago, my son was given a birthday card featuring Harry Potter and the music module had the music from the movie. I saved the module thinking I could use it some day. Well today is "some day." The sentiment on the card is a lighting spell from the book series. I thought it would be fun if Harry was lighting the candles on the birthday cake. The owl is just perfect too. I couldn't believe it when I found an owl with a letter on the Sentimentals Cricut cartridge. So perfect to receive an Owl Gram.

Digi Doodle Shop challenge #62 No Pattern Paper

Welcome to another challenge at Digi Doodle Shop's Challenges. The challenge blog has a new name and a new look but will continue to have a fabulous challenge each week.

The current challenge is to create a project without using pattern paper. I have to say that this challenge was difficult for me. I have all kinds of great papers in my stash that would work great with the image I chose but since I couldn't use them, I decided to go shopping!! This challenge gave me the perfect excuse to finally purchase the diamond plate cuttlebug embossing folder. Looks great with the vintage car doesn't it?

We would love for you to join us in this challenge. Simply create a project following the challenge rules and link it up to the Digi Doodle Shop Challenge Blog. Good Luck!

Aud Sentiments Challenge #30 Summer Time

Another two weeks has just flown by. It's time for another challenge at Aud Sentiments. This week our challenge theme is: MAKE A SUMMER TIME CARD USING ANY SENTIMENTHow easy is that! Can't wait to see all of the cards you make.

We are being sponsored this time by Revi Devi. They provided the DT members with some great summer images to use for our projects. I think their images work perfectly for paper piecing. I printed out the flower pot several times on the different papers. I used pop dots for the flowers for some added dimension. For my card I decided to use the sketch from Mojo Monday. I have been wanting to use this pattern paper for awhile now and this card seemed like the perfect opportunity.

We hope that you join us in this challenge. Simply create a card following the theme and link it up to the Aud Sentiments Challenge blog for your chance to win a great prize from Revi Devi.
